Kid's Club After School Program (Enrichment & Recreation)

Park Avenue Elementary School's "KID'S CLUB" afterschool program provides students with a quality program that channels their intellect and talent, builds their academic skills, and strengthens their involvement in the community. This work is made possible through a strong commitment from staff, parents, and community leaders who all take an active role in advancing our work.

Our Mission in Kid's Club is to build skills in students necessary to pursuing higher education and creating a stronger community. This is achieved by providing them with activities such as STEM, Kids Science, Coast to Coast Soccer, 4-H Nutrition, Pathways (Prevention/Early/Intervention), Cubelets, Hits Tennis, Baseball Fantasy and SPARK. These programs provide youth with an opportunity to engage in scientific and math inquiry, stay healthy through fun activities, and have an opportunity for creative expression.

“Kids Club”: After School Program
Park Avenue’s Kid's Club, an after school program funded through state ASES monies, offers a variety of activities with academic support and enrichment being a top priority. Additionally, homework help, physical recreation and games, crafts, cooking and art all fall under the title “Kids Club.” Throughout the year, Kid's Club hosts celebrations and student shows making the program lively and memorable. In Kid's Club, all students receive instruction and enrichment opportunities by qualified faculty and recreation staff.

Kids Club is open to all students in grades K-5 but space is limited. Kid's Club begins when school dismisses and operates until 6:00 p.m.

A nutritious snack is served daily.
